Being the Youngest

Since I was a baby, people always seem to call me 'budak kecik' (even until today.. grrr) and made an assumption that I'm a mummy's girl. While I'm growing up, I always going to be younger and smaller than my older sisters and brother. Sometimes I will not be 'big enough' or 'old enough' yet to do all the exciting things that my older siblings can do. To tell you the truth, sometimes it does regretting for being the youngest in a family. Even though there are the good and bad of it, I chose to accept its advantages and enjoy it for what it is. =)

So, what's wrong for being the youngest? Everyone thought it's hella fun and youngest always got an attention, priority and all that. It is quite true but sometimes it bothers me when my parents kinda overprotective when it comes to me. Example like, my sisters can walk to the nearest LRT station or walk back home from it which is takes only 15 minutes from our house but me? Nope! If there's anyone at home, she/he must send me or pick me up. Thank god my parents started to trust me and allowed me to walk by myself now. At least, that's what I think.

Despite from the parental control =P, it is tough when having the older siblings that are cleverer, smarter and always success in their studies or have a great achievement. You have to compete with them, show them that you also can do as good as them or do better perhaps. If all the older siblings are kinda smart people, the whole family will have a trust in you and confident that you won't let them down. It is very tough for me since I'm just an average student. >.<

The other things are.. you know. Common stuff like... my siblings always telling me what to do, I never get the new stuff, they shouldn't be 'the boss of me' and all that. I know why they treated me like that because they can. I'm the youngest and their chances are bigger than me and they always can dominate me. But that was a long time ago. Hehe. Things have changed now. As I growing up, I also noticed that my parents have started not to treat me like I'm a baby. ^^ Yay for me! I'm also happy that sometimes I feel like I'm the only child at home since my elder sisters and brother are in university and definitely they are away from home. Hehe. The good things about being the youngest are... GAH! They are too many. I guess I'll just list down some of them. =P

• Sometimes I get more attention and help from the others.
• When they get sick of clothes and their stuff, I get them.
• They can drive me places.
• I'll be the last person to leave school and drive a car.
• I have lots of people to care for me.
• I always have someone's attention.
• I have more experienced parents.
• I have someone to help me.
• Usually, they don't mind to treat me a food or movie when we're going out.
• When the siblings fighting starts to annoy my parents, they have to surrender and let me win even though we know it's my fault. =P

See? That's why I always remind myself to enjoy every bit for being the youngest. *proud smile* =P But sooner or later, things are going to change. I always know that. =)

p/s: Well, being the youngest for all my life.. I admit that I am manja. Especially with my beloved ones. Eheh.. but I'm not a spoiler brat. I think so.... *rolling eyes*
