First and foremost, I would like to say thank you for those who commented on my PLKN post. Thanks for those who support me. I'm sorry for didn't reply your comment. I'm not really in the mood for that. Anyway, I received a comment by someone who's been there and his comment got my attention. Read this.

in ipts, u mixed wit international student, wit foreign lecturers, better quality of education ull get..
aku bkn nak promote.. tapi aku nak gtau pengalaman aku..

pas 3 bln, bye2.. ade yg ilang dara kat kem aku ritu pastu, bye2..
kne pegang2, dah tak spesial tuk suami or isteri nnt.. mcm pelacur sambilan jual bdn, blh pegang2 kejap..

Honestly, I don't have any hard feelings toward this comment. I appreciate his time to write these down and share his opinions. Yes bro, some of your points are right. But did you know that everything that's good has its bad and everything that's bad may have its good? Simply to say, everything has pros and cons. Sometimes things can't go perfectly like we want it to be.

Most of people would see National Service is a good thing for our teens. So far, most of my friends who's been there say that it's totally worth it to joined NS and all that. It's a lifetime's experience, they said. Of course they did told me the bad stuff that happened in the camp. There's normal and bad cases. But you know what, none of them involved with any bad stuff. They didn't complain too much either. This is because it's all come from that individual. Things will not get bad if a person knows how to handle it and can think wisely. Unlike the person who let the negative emotions conquer their mind, they will against it.

Anyway, I agree with you on your point about the working salary. I would rather doing part time job for three months than go to NS. To get RM 1K per month is great enough for a 17-year-old teenager right? However, not all people is thinking the same. Some of them would rather do nothing. Some of them tend to hang out with their friends at the mall, wasting their parents money and time just like that.

Let me get straight to the point. I can tell that NS program hasn't reached it's vission yet because like Malaysian society, it encountered problems with racial polarization and lack of inter-ethnic mingling, restlessness and alienation, lack of discipline and other social issues. If you go anywhere, any part, any corner of our beloved country, the scenario it's still going to be the same. About the virginity issue? Just forget it. It's happening in our society today. A one who can't think wisely will let the lust conquer the love. Even the so-called gothic teens and rempit did the "seks beramai-ramai", what do you expect when that kind of people go to NS? Heh.

You can only survive and come out as a realistic individual if you have a good discipline, great determination, good thinking skills and the most important thing is knowledge that could bring you anywhere. If a top student got NS, I'm pretty sure he/she can survive throughout the camp and even after the camp.

Anyway, you make me wonder. What job did you apply while waiting for the university offer? Why did they ask you whether you know anything about bussiness and your education level? My sister earned RM 900 per month just working part time as a cashier at Cold Storage, KLCC after she finished her SPM. They didn't ask anything else. Unless you apply to work part time at offices, no wonder they asked you with such questions.
