Hello people! Poooof!!! I'm back.. but of course not for long. Haha. First of all, I just entered the new semester. Just? Okay.. maybe like a month ago. I am now in part 4! 2 more semesters and I'll have Diploma certificate in my hand. Insyaallah.. But that's not what I'm looking for. I can't wait to enter the real university and do my Degree yaw! But the new semester is pretty much exciting because I got so much things to do.
Many things to do = TIRED
So.. what am I up to?
Due to so-called popular demand among from college friends, (aww.. perasannya saya =P) I went for my college Student's Representative Council a.k.a MPP (Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar) interview, and yuh, I got enrolled! ;)
Frankly speaking, I never knew what KPTM student council have done all this while. I have always been pessimist towards them, the clubs and the activities in college. And now I know the truth.
Do you know that we are the one who actually organize the Dean's List Award Ceremony? The Graduation Night? Not to mention the Majlis Berbuka Puasa as well as the Majlis Raya. Honestly, event management it's not an easy task. We have to juggle with our classes' assignment and MPP's task. It has been only a week since the first meeting but I tell you, I've worn out now. I also got other things to do, like my personal things and adding all this up, I couldn't get an adequate time to have a proper rest. I am physically and mentally tired too. I missed home and I can't wait to go back on this weekend! But I'm not sure whether I can have a good rest. I got my primary school's and CBN reunions on the SAME day! Awww mann... =(
But being in a community like MPP which involves power is totally a new thing to me. And I enjoy exploring it. For which I know that everyone has his/her own hidden agenda and the politics take part among the members. Hmm.. ;)
I don't think so I'm going to regret joining MPP. This is what I wanted to do after all. Somehow, I also applied what I've learnt throughout my life. For example like I have a basic knowledge of using Adobe Photoshop. I got to applied my skills here. Back then in NS, I also got exposed with event management a bit and here I am now, learning the right way in handling an event and following the right procedure.
By all these means, it is more for my self-actualization. I know, I do have a thing with event management and leadership. I know my own ability. What I'm currently doing, is just take my abilities to a further step. But at second thought, I would listen to Mama not to take Degree in Event Management. I'm experiencing here. And it is TIRING. HA.HA.
I got thrilled with all this hectic routine everyday!
But doesn't mean I won't complaining. Haha.
And oh, I feel bad for my girls because I'm no longer that free to hang out with them.
Take care girls.
XOXO.
Gossip girls.
;)

I got the post!
Right after my Arab Language class finished, my phone rang loudly.
*looked at the number*
"Looks like college's number"
Hello.
Cik Anis Khalidi?
Oh ye ker? Terima kasih!
Sama-sama
Dude!!! I got it! I got it!!
**********************
Fortunately, Shila, Zahira and Shiro were also selected. I'm happy for us. Hehe.
As we entered the meeting room, the room looked a bit crowded.
"Wow... ramainyer"
After waited like 10 minutes and looking at those unfamiliar faces, I saw that shorty again, entered the room and start the meeting.
"You guys can call me Kobe, Mr. Bear or Abang Kobe. I'm the President of MPP"
Then he wrote down his name on whiteboard.
Muhammad Farees Bin Mohd Faezal Asri
"Farees.. nice name. Unique spelling. I like his name"
Then he immediately brief us about the college, proposal and the things we should know. The best part is when he announced the post for us. Yay! I got what I want. Exco of Sports!
After discussed a few things, our usual meeting will be held on Monday, 5:30 PM.
Done.

MPP Interview
I noticed the so-called post vacancy of Students' Representative Council a.k.a MPP (Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar) yesterday.
The truth is I've been wanting to go to the interview since I was in my second semester, but I never really got time for it.
and "hey, the timing is right. I don't have any classes after this. Let's do this", I said to myself.
I walked down and went straight to the MPP Room and filled up the form. To my surprise, the sweet and lovely, Shila was also there, applying for one of the available post. There were also Zahira and Shiro. They are good. This would be stiff. I thought to myself.
I had a little chit chat with them just to kill the time. Most of the candidates were nervous to be interviewed but being me, I just chill myself because I didn't really take this matter very serious. Then I heard my name was being called. I entered the room. Sit down and look straight into his eyes. The interviewer.
The first line.
"Tell me about yourself"
I'm glad.
I didn't have the butterfly in the stomach.
The interview session was a bit laid back but I think I'll get the post.
I don't know why but I have confident in it.
Later, when I was outside the room. "Who is he? The interviewer I meant" I asked Liyana. "Huh? He is the one. The president"
The door opened.
I turned my head and read him. "This... shorty fella is the president?"
*******************
I went back to catch my friends. Everybody was so nice for being so supportive.
"Why do you want to do this? Enter the MPP?"
"Because I want to get busy. I don't want to think about my relationship. My love life sucks. I don't think so I could bear it any longer. I need distractions. So, MPP is the perfect distraction I'd say."

Warming up
Bila berjumpa balik dengan rakan sekelas Seksyen 2 semester lepas, soalan pertama yang kerap ditanya,
"Best tak Seksyen 1?"
"Aaa.. biasa jer"
Memang macam sistem sekolah pun. Dah nama pun kolej, bukannya universiti pun.
Tapi, dalam perjalanan pulang ke rumah tadi, aku terfikir gak.. rasanya semester lepas lagi seronok.
Bukanlah aku nak cakap apa, tapi berdasarkan pengamatan aku, kenapa budak-budak Dekan ni pasif semacam? Seriously, I was EXPECTING MORE from you guys. Come on, you guys budak Dekan kot, mestilah idea-idea korang lagi tip top then mine. Why don't you share it to the whole class? I mean, nak belajar, mestilah dari budak bijak pandai kan? That's one of the reason why I wanted to get into this class.
Ira, Diba, Aqil and the gang.. but in this new class.. dua tiga kerat jer.
Hmm.. Takperlah, maybe dorang baru nak warming up kot. Yer lah, baru jer 3 minggu kuliah start. Apakah aku terlebih semangat? Haha.
Classmates so far pun okayh lah. Helpful gak. Since Daus chopped his hair, cute cute.

Aku sedar kerana mata aku tercelik.
Akhirnya aku membuat satu andaian.

Kolej Poly-Tech Mara Bangi
It's been a week since I've entered Kolej Poly-Tech Mara Bangi. I'm doing 3 years Diploma in Business Studies in collaboration with UiTM Program. So far so good. The college is fine and I have to walk like 10 minutes from hostel to reach the campus. Literally, it wasn't that near.
The registration day was on 1st July and I went to the main office to get the offer letter on one day before. To sum it up, I've done medical check up including the X-Ray, photocopied my certificates and get certified by school, did my essay for MARA loan application and everything in less than 24 hours! People usually take a week or so to get it done but me? Hahaha. That's what we called last minute work and yeah, I did come late for the registration. Like what my sister said to me,
"Dah lah datang lambat. Pakai sweater dengan jeans jer lak."
Hehe. It's kinda embarrassing actually because most of the girls are wearing baju kurung during the registration and it was like I was the only one who wears jeans. I was rushing in the morning, still settling some stuff then at noon we straight go to Bangi. What do you expect? I even packed my stuff 30 minutes before we off to Bangi you know. I just packed a couple of t-shirts, baju kurung and toiletries!
I registered late for the hostel as well and wara~ my room is on the top floor which is level FOUR! Have to climb up 8 stairs plus, walk to the campus and.. great. Yeah, I mean it. It's great because I'm a walking person and I can stand under the hot sun because I've been to NS so there shouldn't be any problems. I've got used to it. I really can't wait for the outcome by the end of the first semester. Will I get slimmer with all these walking routine? =P
After a while, my first roommate finally hits the room. She is Fatin Khairunnisa and known as Nisa, taking Banking course. After knowing each other and picked our tables, beds and cupboards, we went down for the orientation's briefing. Here comes the best part of the day. Somehow, I managed to 'break the ice' between me and the peeps around me. There was like 6 or 7 of us and we were the loudest. We talked and laughed alot like we have known each other. In fact, we were perfect strangers during that time and the others are so damn quiet. Some of the seniors a.k.a orientation committee kinda annoyed with us. Hehehe. I'm such a friendly and approachable person I think. Chewah~ =P
And so I've got many new friends throughout the orientation week. Got free meals, have a small crush with a male senior. *wink* He's the Ketua Biro Disiplin and I found that he's actually hot but he's short! Hahaha. I always have a thing with short or very tall guy. I wonder why. Huhuh.
Oh, I won't say much about the orientation because it was damn boring. The only activities that we had was MINJAROES, it's sort of like KUCIPANG and singing KPTM's anthem and the rest was briefing about our program, MARA loan, exams and such. I think that's all for now. Till then.

IPMA
I just gotta know that besides IPTA (public university) and IPTS (private university) there's another category which is known as IPMA. It stands for Institusi Pendidikan MARA. Basically, it is the IPTA's franchise but the learning centre is in IPTS and MARA colleges, not in the main/proper public university's campus. Means that the registered IPTS runs IPTA's program under MARA's sponsorship. It's another privilege for Bumiputera.
Like me, I'm doing 3 years Diploma in Business Studies in collaboration with UiTM Program at Kolej Poly-Tech MARA Bangi. The syllabus, the programs, the activities are from UiTm and I even have to follow UiTM rules which is more strict. I registered with UiTM and that makes me an official UiTM student but studying in KPTM.
One of the advantage studying in IPMA is every student may apply and get MARA study loans (usually every application will be accepted). There's monthly allowance, books and even fees allowance. So you wouldn't burden your parents and family financially. And MARA study loans not as burden as PTPTPN because students who obtained good grades/pointer upon graduation are eligible to convert their MARA study loans to MARA scholarships. Means that, there will be no 100% repayment and no interest will be charged. Moreover, if the student excel in every semester and get pointer 3.5 and above, the percentage for him to repay will be lesser. While for PTPTPN, you have to repay after you have graduate.
Another advantage that I like the most is the atmosphere in the class. The classroom is very small. Roughly, there are 30 students per class and the two-way communication between the lecturer and students works effectively. I can pay more attention and focus better in a small classroom.
Whatever it is, I'm so glad that I'm on the right track now. Alhamdullilah. =]
