Ugly Duckling

As I'm passing middle twenties, I started to recognized the importance of having good appearance for all the time. All this while, I only doll up when attending formal events and functions but now, I'll make sure I look presentable whenever I leave the house.

I also started to switch up my wardrobe to have more feminine and lady like's clothing. Previously, if I went out and planning not seeing anyone, I would just put on my jeans, tshirt, tudung bawal and of course, my favourite pair of sneakers. And bare face too! (Application of BB cream doesn't count as a basic makeup)

But not anymore. I will dress up, put a decent amount of makeup to make myself look presentable. One of the many reasons that made me wanna change because I coincidentally stumbled upon friends when going out alone and after we took photos, I realized that I felt so left out. We were in the same age but I felt embarrassed with my childish appearance.

This was taken in early 2015. I didn't even feel self conscious about my appearance which is BAD!
I also think that young women should know how to put on makeup and taking care of their faces. Because of my sister, I learnt how to put makeup on my own since I was in teenager. At least I know the basic makeup application and now I just need to enhance my makeup skills and experiment more with the makeup kits.

What I would wear today for a casual outing
I no longer wear sneakers for casual outing too!
Shoes play important role too. I think I have get rid of my sneakers and replaced them with wedges and wedge loafers for casual outing. I still prefer closed toe shoes because that's how I keep my feet fair and stay in shape. I never knew the beauty of perfectly shaped feet until my friend pointed it out to me. She said that I have a perfect feet shape and my toes are in neat shape. I guess it was a natural process because I've been wearing socks and sneakers since I was a little girl. I don't wear flip flops too. That's how important closed toe shoes are.

Perfectly shaped feet
My current style. Not very feminine but grown up enough.

My Thoughts on Marriage

Assalamualaikum.

Recently I've been exposed with the topic of marriage with people around me and it makes me wonder lots of things. First of all, it's not that I'm "muda-muda-dah-gatal-fikir-pasal-kahwin" but I was given the chance to obtain a little knowledge regarding this matter at a such young age. Which of course I think it's a good knowledge and exposure for the future that I would like to share with my friends. Before I start, I would like to acknowledge everybody that most of my points of view are based on people's experiences and opinions.

Every single thing in this world has its beautiful and ugly parts. All this while, (being a normal teenage girl) we tend to anticipate that marriage is something beautiful that will last forever. Who doesn't want to be loved by the man whom we love dearly for the rest of our lives? But how do we know the man we will be marrying in future will do his utmost to carry out his duties to the best to the family? Inevitably, both aspects from Duniawi and Akhirat are taken into account.

D U N I A W I

1. MONEY AND WEALTH
This is undeniably true. Money is the root of happiness when it is sufficient but becomes a problem when it is not. My mother has always stresses on one's financial situations. For men especially, they must have a stable income before get married. The two key points here are saving and managing the wealth. Honestly, I wouldn't marry someone who doesn't have a stable income and don't have any savings in his bank account.

You should start saving not only for the wedding reception but for AFTER the marriage as well. If you have saved up, say like RM30k and spend it on just wedding reception and stuff, then have this kinda thought; "Ala, next month dapat gaji, barulah nak mula hidup dengan bini"... Then you are just gonna start your new life with cukup-cukup-makan-jer-lah. Silap haribulan, si suami kena buat double jobs. Lagi kurang masa nak spend dekat rumah.

When I stressed on AFTER means you need a house. Lepas dah beli/sewa rumah. Mestilah kena ada perabot. Perabot tuh termasuklah kelengkapan macam bagai; bilik tidur, ruang tamu, dapur dan macam-macam lagi. Itu belum kira duit makan lagi, duit maintenance wife lagi, house loan, car loan, PTPTN, duit belanja for parents and etc.

But the burden can be lighten if the couple knows the right way to MANAGE their finance. Takkan lah dah lepas move in together baru fikir nak beli perabot semua. Baru fikir kena cut cost sini sana. Patutnya lepas kahwinlah baru boleh pergi enjoy, dating sana sini, tapi dah tak dapat buat. Siapa yang dapat duduk dengan mentua, baguslah but still tak bermakna you can take them for granted. (But my mother totally against the idea).

Speaking of money, nowadays ramai yang kahwin pakai bank loan. Tambah loan lagi dalam hidup. So siapa yang pandai manage duit, memang dia tak perlu nak ambil bank loan semata-mata nak kahwin and to have the-wedding-of-the-year reception. Dahulukan ibadah, benda wedding fairytales itu adat semata-mata sahaja.

Back to saving issue, let's say you still couldn't found the right one by the time your age hit 25, I highly recommend you to start save up for marriage. You wouldn't know where your so-called right one will turn up. Be prepared. Lagipun kalau tengah muda dan single... Lagi senang nak gain extra income by doing overtime or double jobs sebab takder komitmen lain.

2. MEN LACK OF SUCCESS DRIVE VS INDEPEDENT WOMEN
Nowadays, only 1 out of 10 men is motivated to be successful in his life; to achieve his self-actualization needs. I was told that zaman sekarang pun memang lelaki cari perempuan kaya or anak orang kaya untuk hidup senang. By saying perempuan kaya, the woman might owns a company and the husband will be one of the board director eventually.

Senang cerita, sijil Degree tolak tepi, kahwin perempuan kaya lepas tuh terus boleh dapat share jadi bos dekat his wife's company. Best kan? Kalau anak orang kaya pula, buat baik dengan ayah mentua, gain his trust, pun boleh jadi bos dekat company ayah mentua. But this kinda thing is still subjective. As for me, I'm not interested with a guy who leads a very normal and simple life sebab saya sendiri pun bercita-cita besar. Tapi ingat semua perempuan feels good ke kalau husband tak kerja sendiri and menumpang kemewahan yang dah sedia ada? Tak jugak.

Meanwhile wanita sekarang semakin bijak berdikari. They know how to earn a living and be more successful. Yes, they are demanding because they know they can pull it off and they know what they want. Sebab tuh semakin banyak juga kes cerai berai. Sebab wanita sekarang semaking berani untuk justify diri mereka sendiri. Mentaliti mereka bukannya macam wanita zaman-zaman dulu; hidup kena bergantung pada suami untuk dapatkan nafkah hidup. Sebab mereka mampu untuk sara hidup diri sendiri, mereka tak perlukan seseorang bernama suami WHEN shit happens.

What I'm saying is, if they caught their husband cheating on them, beating them, tak bagi nafkah anak and etc, then couldn't work things out, finally the last resort is to get divorced. Kena pulak kalau si husband nih tak bekerja. Memang kiss-me-goodbye lah jawabnya. In fact, ramai juga janda-janda muda yang berusia dalam lingkungan awal 30-an. There's a person I know and yes, she was left by her husband, fortunately she is a career woman and boleh sara 2 orang anak dia on her own. So who's the man now?

3. TOLERATION VS MARRY A PERSON HOW YOU EXPECT THEM TO BE
Perempuan belajar tinggi-tinggi mana pun, last-last ke ceruk dapur juga kena pergi.
Familiar tak potongan ayat nih?
Like I said in beginning, we tend to anticipate that marriage is something beautiful. Lelaki pun ada expectation dia bila dah kahwin. Mereka fikir bila dah kahwin nanti, time dah balik kerja, isteri akan dah tunggu dekat rumah, dinner is ready on the table, laundry semua si isteri yang buat.. macam orang zaman-zaman dulu punyer expectation lah. But what will happen if that expectation seems never happening?

There's a few factor involved.
1. The wifey's nature of job.
2. The high expectation on wife

Before got married, si lelaki patutnya memang kena ambil tahu how is his woman's nature of job. Contoh kalau kerja event management, memang taklah isteri nak kejer from 9-5 kan? Mesti kena balik lewat malam which mean tak dapat nak masak dinner. Pastu biasanya kalau si isteri balik lambat, boleh mengundang fitnah.

Tapi ada pula si polan bertanya, "kenapa isteri tuh tak tukar kerja jer? Kerja government jer lah macam tuh."
As I've mentioned earlier, perempuan sekarang pun bercita-cita besa, terpelajar, semakin pandai dah.
Some of us further the course that we are longing to do because we know what we want to be. Kalau memang dah minat, memang enjoylah even kena kerja kuat macam mana pun. So takkanlah belajar tinggi-tinggi nak jadi kuli batak untuk suami yang selfish macam tuh jer? (Oops! terkasar!)

That's why toleration is very important. Faham each other seadanya dan cuba adapt diri dengan keadaan kerja masing-masing. Try to figure things out.

Contoh kalau nakkan isteri tuh sampai rumah sebelum si suami pulang, sebelum kahwin tuh, cubalah dapatkan rumah yang berdekatan dengan tempat kerja isteri. Lagi dekat, lagi bagus. So isteri bolehlah sampai rumah dahulu.

So for the guys out there yang memang dah tahu ciri-ciri isteri yang diidamkan, carilah perempuan yang sebegitu. *sinis*

Takpun, si isteri takyah kerja langsung. No problem! Janji diberi allowance. Adalah jugak duit nak window shopping ker bila bosan duduk rumah. Tapi ada berani nak suruh isteri zaman sekarang jadi housewife? Tak kan? Kenapa? Sebab back to point number 1. Money, money, money!

In a nutshell, it's okay to be choosy.

Sebab before kahwin, main redah jer.
Tak reti masak? Takper. Boleh makan luar.
Tak reti basuh baju? Takper. Boleh hantar dobi.

Perempuan pun kena lah belajar cara-cara how to keep husband yer?

Habis sudah Part 1.
Part 2 akan kupas my opinions from aspect of Akhirat & Agama.

Kenapa ya?

Alright, its just a cheesy matter but I really need to get it off from my chest.

So, I've been talking with my friends particularly on UiTM female students and specifically the HQ, UiTM Shah Alam itself.

For years, I (honestly) really dislike, despite and loathe the UiTM female students mainly from the east coast. No offence. UiTM is really 'unique' in its way. I guess we all know why UiTM are so different from other public universities. *sigh*

And I thought it was just me, but there are also some of my friends (male and female) have the same feelings towards them. No, don't get me wrong. I'm not downgrading them but I just don't get it why they tend to behave in such manner.

Its typical to find that they are the victim of culture revolution or the simple term is, Culture Shock. I'm stressing on the social issue as I've been experiencing this issue personally.

Well, is it true that:
Bila perempuan-perempuan nih jumpa boys from KL, they won't let him go although the guy is taken? They would rather be their scandals as long he can support and fulfill her material needs?

I was surprised when my guy friends told me about this as one of them is experiencing the situation. He said they are materialistic and will go for friends-with-benefit kind of relationship with the guy who is quite loaded. Regardless both of them are taken or not. She will turn the "friendship" into scandal affair. As long dia rasa dia dapat jadi macam budak up, setaraf dengan budak-budak bandar. Who cares?

And one more thing that I found weird in their romance relationship is..
The couple will still go for scandal affair with somebody else although they are together. I have to say, that is typical Malay's thinking particularly the UiTM students of course. No offence.

Why? Why do you have to do that and ruin other people's relationship?

And of course, talking about their image and appearance. Baru duduk Shah Alam kejap, tudung dah melayang entah ke mana. Dapat boyfriend from KL, terus hilang pendirian diri. Although the guy said that you look prettier when not wearing tudung. (I would put the blame on MMS and 3G video call. Haha) but doesn't mean you have to let go your hijab and start to dress the way that they want.

Frankly speaking, I really love the girl that wear tudung but still can be a fashionista without let it off or wearing leggings. (Atas pakai tudung tapi bawah pakai leggings ibarat anda mempersendakan kesucian hijab!) And no offence, most of these girls are from the urban area. But as for these kampung girls? They will strip off their long sleeves shirts and start to wear all those minis and tank tops. Haha. Personally, I'm very proud of my friends who started to wear tudung once they out from CBN. I mean, budak KL pakai tudung.

Because think again.. she is still studying and she already behave in such manner when met him. But he might have doubt on her when they start to work. Everyone will eventually change when entering a new place. So what if these girls dah mula bekerja, then jumpa orang lain? Sama macam masa dia mula-mula masuk belajar dulu. Senang terpengaruh dengan orang and will go after the more loaded man?

Last but not least, I've always have this impression on them. They tend to after the guys who seem loaded. Kalau nampak jer lelaki bawa kereta, terus dah aim. Is the guy taken? Itu belakang cerita.

Heh. Pathetic.

Yea, aku memang cakap ikut sedap mulut jer while writing this down. But don't be hypocrite because we do judge everyone and I'm just writing down my judgement towards them.

Anon, kenapa kau takut?

Pada pandangan aku secara conventional, ekonomi negara kita juga yang akan lumpuh tetapi secara Islamiknya, this is the least thing we could do not as a muslim only but being as a human as well.

#002: Buah dada perempuan

Sekali lagi entri aku bermula dengan pertanyaan, 'pernah tak'
Jadi, pernah tak kamu terlihat perempuan memakai baju sehingga menampakkan lurah dadanya?

Perhatikanlah persekitarannya. Perhatikan dahulu teman-temannya.

Dulu pemikiran aku tertutup. Aku terikut sama macam kawan-kawan. (not proportion)

Sebentar.

2. Menjadikan badan anda kelihatan menarik dan cantik jika mengenakan sebarang pakaian.

3. Menghasilkan susu ibu yang tulen lagi lazat berkrim bila tiba masanya.

Kalau terlalu kecil, pakailah 'push-up' bra yang bersesuaian. Jika terlalu besar, anda tidak patut berasa malu jika orang mengejek anda. Anda bangga menjadi seorang wanita bukan?

Beliau memiliki berjuta-juta gambar okayh?

Can you keep a secret?

Secret: Something studiously concealed; a thing kept from general knowledge; what is not revealed, or not to be revealed; something that should remain hidden from others.

Everybody has a secret world inside of them. The world that's full with guilty-pleasure secret, self-indulge secret, dirty little secret, dark secret and might be, innocent secret. For all your life, you try your best not to let anyone to get into your secret world and dig out any secrets from it because you are scared that the world will knows. But how funny that most of the secrets are secretly revealed by yourself.

Sometimes you feel relieve to tell it to your faithful lover.

Sometimes you feel good to tell it to your best friend.

Sometimes you feel proud to tell it to your new friends.

Sometimes you feel bad to tell it to your parents.

Sometimes you feel terribly regret to tell it to your friends.

But most of the time, you feel safe to tell it to strangers.

They swear they will never tell no one.

Yet everyone is not the best kept secret.

Why when we do our darkest deeds, do we tell?

Because they burn in our brains and become a living hell.

You got a secret?

Better lock it, in your pocket.

Taking this one to the grave.

Mark my words.

No one keeps a secret.

Because everyone tells.

If you're not born to be different, then try to be outstanding.

It's been 2 weeks since my classes have started and I'm having a pile of homework that is need to be done. I really don't have any problems with that. So far, only Maths and English class are available whereas we haven't got the lecturers for Management and Account classes. Because of the idiot administration people, we're the one who has to suffer now. FYI, my college were expecting only 600 new UiTM students will enter the KPTM Bangi and what a big shock to them when they received 854 UiTM students. Hence, there are so many classes and short of lecturers.

Plus, my English lecturer is planning to take a long leave at the end of the semester therefore she's doing the replacement class from the first week. Can you imagine to have the same class every single day? She will give us a homework in every class and we will present it to class on the next day. It's sickening me to write essays everyday. Somehow I feel like I'm doing TESL. Heh.

But I'm quite hardworking since entered the college. I'll make sure I get my homework done before the next class because I know that there's no more spoon-feeding and actually, self-learning is somehow exciting. And oh, guess what peeps? I'm breaking my personal records by beating the guys in my maths class! I've never done that before! Yipee! Hehe. I found myself recently that I like Maths! Maybe because the syllabus for Maths in Business is much simpler than Add Maths.

After a while being here, I just miss those old good days during my school years. I can't never beat my genius guy friends at my tuition, I miss doing group discussion with my classmates especially with the Chinese and Indians. At here, they don't read much and that makes they don't know much things. If we're discussing, there's no argument and they will just accept anyone's idea as long the task given can be done as soon as possible. This is not what it's supposed to be. Where is the quality thinking?

Despite from that, I'm sad to see how pathetic they can be. We were given a task to write an essay about leadership and characteristics of a good leader. It's just a simple essay anyway but I can't write well when I don't have any materials because I know that my ideas can grow if I have anything to refer with. So, I went to the library, find some books and managed to complete my essay. The next day, the people who hasn't finish it gave the lame excuses; they don't have any ideas about it and they need to surf internet to find it.

I feel like knocking their heads because, HELLO! What do you think the use of library? Why would you waste your money to cyber cafe when you can find numerous of articles and books about it? This is just beginning. I think that most of teenagers these days didn't even know how to use a book.

I'm interested with what Royal Professor Ungku Aziz said about Kiasu. He wants to tackle the Malay dilemma, wants Bumiputeras to have the Kiasu drive to succeed. Kiasu means fear of losing.

This word is so widely used by Singaporeans and Malaysians. It is often used in describing the social attitudes of people. Its widespread use is often because these attitudes are common; to not lose out in a highly competitive society, or to the extent of parents imposing heavy study labor on their children in their wish to make them at the very top of all other students. Growing up with this attitude, these students often become ambitious businesspeople, with the desire to be on top in wealth and prestige regardless of whether the most prestigious careers are aligned with their true capabilities.

To make it simple, it's enough to remind yourself by saying 'I want to be the best', 'I want to be number one' in everything you do. That's what I'm doing now. I'm trying to get lecturer's attention. I love sitting in the first row of class. I like to teach people how to think-out-of-box. I like to exposed my friends' mind with political issues. I'm learning by copying and altering. It's not like I'm trying to be cocky here but I have to set the turning point of my life. I wanna be different and outstanding from others. That would make my life worth it.

When things seemed right doesn't mean it's good

I've been thinking about it.. the things that once were unusual and odd have now become the common things in our community and most of the people can accept it including myself. But then, not all the common things are good. I would say, most of them are bad. Somes are very bad... or is just me?

What was your impression when you first got exposed with homosexualsm? How about seeing girls wearing tube tops/spaghetti stripes/mini skirt? How about watching erotic scenes from west movies or read it from novels? How about sneaking out late at night? How about young couples kissing and cuddling each other in public? And what was your impression to all these, say like... 15 years back?

Slowly, with our modern lifestyle we're adapting these new behaviour and culture into our lifestyle. For me, to be cool you have to be open minded. In order to get yourself open minded, you must accept the new common and cliche things which is happening in your surrounding.

Majority is not always right. To tell you the truth, I can list out all the common things that I know aren't good at all yet myself can accept it but I'll try my best to avoid it. Somehow I can talk about it without any hard feelings. Sometimes I feel bad for showing supportment to my friends with the wrong things that they did but.. that was my ego I guess. I know what kind of people they are. Now I realized why we should set up our own guidelines in our life and stand firm with it.

KAMI

sgt syiok okayh!!

I know, I know, you have stumbled upon many blogs reviewing about this TV series now let it be mine this time. ;)

First thing first, I didn't review about this series during the early episodes because I'm still waiting for the episode that is worth to be watched and 6 episodes have been on aired and I would like to say that they all were SIMPLY COOL!

Maybe for some people they have different view about it such as this TV series doesn't show Malaysian culture and it's more to western style. Well, why would you say such thing when Malaysian teenagers ARE becoming something like that. It's reality dude. The punk and rock music. Local bands and gigs. How bout photography, art and designs, emo hairstyles and such which are the "in" thing in Malaysia at the moment? And who set the "in" thing trends all over the world? Yes. They were western people.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not supporting western lifestyle or whatsoever. What I'm trying to say is simply just go with the flow. But always remember; "ingat-ingatlah berpijak di bumi yang nyata". And and, they feature all-boys and all-girls school! That's quite unique. Typical Malay dramas always show the mixed school.

But what makes me stuck to this series is because of the scripts! The jokes never failed me from burst into laughter yet. Why? Because the scripts are so teenagers style! Does not boring at all! Who doesn't like that. All of them can act pretty good because they are all Malaysian teenagers and I love their natural acting except for the girl name Sophie. Sometimes she is overreacting and sometimes her acting is poor. Maybe because she doesn't grow up in Malaysia. Plus, the thing I like the most is the problems that every characters faced with. And and and, all the bad stuff that is showed in that series are really cool! =P

For those who missed the early episodes, go watch them at youtube!

To collect many A's or get A's for my future?

I've been thinking about this and would like to have some comment about it.

Let's say you're given these results.

Student A:
BM - 1A
BI - 1A
EST - 2A
SEJ - 1A
AGAMA/MORAL - 2A
MOD MATHS - 1A
ADD MATHS - 4B
BIO - 4B
CHEM - 5C
PHYS - 5C
OTHER (TASSAWUR) = 1A
Total A's = 7
Student B:
BM - 3B
BI - 5C
EST - 5C
SEJ - 6C
AGAMA/MORAL - 3B
MOD MATHS - 1A
ADD MATHS - 1A
BIO - 1A
CHEM - 1A
PHYS - 1A
Total A's = 5
Which one is better actually?

Student B in my opinion.

FYI, these results are belong to my last year seniors.
Both applied Matriculations and got it.

But what makes them different are, of course the SPM results and the period time given to them to complete their Matrix.

Student A got 7A's and she's given 2 years while Student B who got only 5A's is given 1 year.

The things that I want to point out is, no matter how much you get A's but if you can't score for your elective subjects it is still not going to take you any further in any science-related courses. (Only if you're planning to do science-related and such)

Since time is running out, I'm changing my plan. I'm going to do Plan C. Which is concentrate on my science subjects and put aside Teras subjects a bit. Oh. My Teras subjects are BM, BI, SEJ, AGAMA, EST and MOD MATHS.
I didn't really care about SEJARAH even though I really love it and of course, I can do it. But it's got nothing to do with the course I'm going to apply.
Both BM and BI need to read the KOMSAS and LITERATURE which is a burden to me.
EST? As a matter of fact, I could only laugh.
AGAMA? Emm.. I tend to neglect this subject a bit but I usually can get at least is 4B.

So I've changed my perception about this.

p/s: I follow the Jabatan grades. Heh.

This is what I call TRULY STUPID PUPPY LOVE

KUALA LUMPUR 17 Sept. – .....

I just watched the news on the TV and those girls have been found somewhere at KTM Pantai Dalam and Angkasapuri RTM. I'm not sure about that. Just read the tomorrow's newspaper.

Wild guess?

They ran away with their boyfriends.

And when police have found them, they were hesitate to tell them who and what brought them here. Finally, they admited that they followed their boyfriends and the boys were at cyber cafe when the police has got those girls.

I was like, hellowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! YOU MORON!

~!@#$%^&*()_+|

To tell you the truth, I totally
pissed off with their action! What the hell were they thinking??? Especially that 12-year-old girl! First thing first you don't need a boyfriend at all and I think that the older girls had influenced her. WTF you guys??

Sadly, it's happened during the blessful month of Ramadhan. =(

EDITED on 19th Sept:
The newspapers said the different thing from what I've heard on the prime news last night. But still, if there's any girls ran away from home or whatsoever because of boyfriend is totally bullshit.

Who's to blame?

So....

Everyone's talking about this picture.
It's a photo taken by a paparazzi while Asraf Sinclair and Bunga Citra Lestari kissing each other in Bali. Very passionate eh? To tell you the truth, my first reaction when see this photo was... "Wow~ They're so freaaking hawwtt!"

While googling for this photo, I stumbled upon many blogs. Most of the bloggers are mad and angry with their "sweet action". How bout me? Well, honestly I don't give a damn maybe because I've been exposed to it. What I meant by exposed is, I've seen and heard people kissing, making out from time to time. Being an urban teenager, I can accept such things but hey, doesn't mean that I agree with it. It's just I'm open minded with such things yet I know my own limit.

Back to the controversial picture, what I see is they are just doing the things that couples do when in love. Kisses, hugs, walks on the beach and stuff. Things that lovers say and do. But because both of them are celebrities, definitely whatever they do will get attention. But hey, what if they're nobody? People won't mind them and bitching at them right? That's why I feel kinda sorry to both of them. That's their privacy why can't people leave them alone? But after this incident, I'm pretty sure both of Ashraf, Bunga and young celebrities out there have learnt a lesson.

Moreover, why people are so noisy about them when actually you can found such photos over MySpace and Friendster? Oh, of course. People talk because both of them are Muslim (I'm not sure about Bunga) and makes such a fuss. But I noticed that, most of the people didn't say much about her bikini. If Bunga is really a muslim, why they can accept a muslim's wearing bikini but can't accept the kissing? HEH!

One more thing, for those who thinks that Ashraf is taking advantage from Bunga, I absolutely disagree with that. Both of them are adults and they are mature enough to think pros and cons of something. Like I said, they are just doing the things that couples do when in love.

Kissing photos?

FYI, all the couples are Malays. And there's a lesbian couple among these photos. There's half nude guy also but their body is so ugly and gays are so disgusting makes me don't want to put their pictures here.

Oh. Just want to let you know that I'm on nobody's side. I'm not a fan of them either. It's just my thoughts and being a muslim, I know that "sweetest sin" of zina is a big sin. Like what Kasyah post in his posting, I agree with him that not all the guys are good and not all the girls are innocent but you can't just put the blame to them. We are human and we have lust.

p/s: My thoughts might seem wrong to you but what I know is semua manusia di muka bumi ini tidak akan terlepas daripada ujian Allah S.W.T. Mengawal nafsu ni pun sebahagian daripada ujian Nya.

Female Morals of An Online Generation

I found this entry from my daily dose of blog reading. This particular girl writes good stuffs, and I found myself sharing the same thought on this one. This is by Miss Aida, from her blog.
The Internet has made the world a smaller place. Truly it has. E-mail makes keeping in touch just a click away, chat programs make it possible to talk to a person on the other side of the world instantly, certain websites allow individuals to keep in touch with whole networks of people. And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

With so many people enjoying the uses of the Internet on a daily basis, it's not surprising that individuals have had to create an online personality. This may differ for every individual. The shadows and anonymity of the World Wide Web creates an almost intimate environment, an illusion of privacy. An individual has the freedom of choice to choose what they want to do, what they want to say, be whoever they wish to be.

Some retain themselves.
Others don't.

I join the ranks of the many online, daily users of the Internet. E-mail is my friend. My MSN is constantly on. I have accounts on Networking websites like Friendster and MySpace. I've made use of all these services to keep in touch with people I know.

The latest trends seem to be networking websites such as Friendster and MySpace, which I find particularly useful conceptually. I enjoy looking through the profiles of old friends, getting updated on their latest photos and latest going ons through the occasional post on the bulletin board. I've even been contacted by old friends, friends who date all the way back to primary school, whom I am delighted to get in touch with once again.

Lately, as I occasionally do, I clicked through the many profiles on MySpace, randomly flitting from one person to another. As I shifted through profiles of randoms, I saw a disconcerting shift in the photos displayed on public profile. The profiles I looked through seemed more suited on a pornography, adult matchmaking website rather than the wholesome, useful tool of communication that I envisioned.

Women, all beautiful in their own way, displaying their bodies on a network which was easily accessible to chlidren old enough to use the computer. It made me wonder. True, there was the anonymity of the Internet, the freedom of experimentation, but what was the point? Images that I can easily do without, the wanton images of naked flesh, more explicit than tasteful.

It made me wonder about the choices these women were making. Did they need the lustful comments of other individuals to bolster their insecurities? Did they have a point to prove - to display the beauty of their bodies on the realms of cyberspace for the world to see?

More so were the individuals who put up pictures of themselves flagrante derelicto with their partners. What was the point? The secret desire of voyeurism? Did they get off by imagining their images fuelled the lust of others? Did they just want to prove that they were having a healthy sex life?

The one issue that angered me the most were the profiles that put up such pictures, and yet, still boldly admitted to being individuals of faith. Muslims. Christians. Whatever. I'm definite on the fact that religion frowns upon the degree of wantonness displayed for the world to see. It's not up to me to judge on how people choose to act. However, it becomes somewhat personal when a Muslim publicly chooses to flaunt the rules of religion.

It confuses me that individuals can turn the most innocent of things, meant for public use, into something else. It seems to me that this is a sign of the degradation of the moral and religious values of our society. It makes me sad to think of these women, who seem to think it's alright to flaunt their bodies publicly. It makes me wonder if they respect themselves at all.

Women are all beautiful in our own way. You don't have to spread your legs to prove it.

Honestly, I don't have any hard feelings toward this comment. I appreciate his time to write these down and share his opinions. Yes bro, some of your points are right. But did you know that everything that's good has its bad and everything that's bad may have its good? Simply to say, everything has pros and cons. Sometimes things can't go perfectly like we want it to be.

Most of people would see National Service is a good thing for our teens. So far, most of my friends who's been there say that it's totally worth it to joined NS and all that. It's a lifetime's experience, they said. Of course they did told me the bad stuff that happened in the camp. There's normal and bad cases. But you know what, none of them involved with any bad stuff. They didn't complain too much either. This is because it's all come from that individual. Things will not get bad if a person knows how to handle it and can think wisely. Unlike the person who let the negative emotions conquer their mind, they will against it.

Anyway, I agree with you on your point about the working salary. I would rather doing part time job for three months than go to NS. To get RM 1K per month is great enough for a 17-year-old teenager right? However, not all people is thinking the same. Some of them would rather do nothing. Some of them tend to hang out with their friends at the mall, wasting their parents money and time just like that.

Let me get straight to the point. I can tell that NS program hasn't reached it's vission yet because like Malaysian society, it encountered problems with racial polarization and lack of inter-ethnic mingling, restlessness and alienation, lack of discipline and other social issues. If you go anywhere, any part, any corner of our beloved country, the scenario it's still going to be the same. About the virginity issue? Just forget it. It's happening in our society today. A one who can't think wisely will let the lust conquer the love. Even the so-called gothic teens and rempit did the "seks beramai-ramai", what do you expect when that kind of people go to NS? Heh.

You can only survive and come out as a realistic individual if you have a good discipline, great determination, good thinking skills and the most important thing is knowledge that could bring you anywhere. If a top student got NS, I'm pretty sure he/she can survive throughout the camp and even after the camp.

Anyway, you make me wonder. What job did you apply while waiting for the university offer? Why did they ask you whether you know anything about bussiness and your education level? My sister earned RM 900 per month just working part time as a cashier at Cold Storage, KLCC after she finished her SPM. They didn't ask anything else. Unless you apply to work part time at offices, no wonder they asked you with such questions.

Would GUYS say "I Love You"

to their guy friends?

LOL! That's soooo gay! =D Today, my classmates and I were discussing about THIS. Hehe.. girls always have a topic to be discussed ekh? ;D So we were wondering, how real guys, real men show their love and appreciation towards their friends? If girls, we're usually just say it with one shot. Haha. You know something like this:

"OK babe. I've got to go now. See you when I see you. Love you lots!"

"Hey dear. Where have you been? I miss you so much!"

"You can do it! I believe in you. I love you no matter what happens."

"Happy birthday dear! I love you so much!

Hehe.. would guys say such thing to their friends?

or do this?

Girl A: Goodbye dear. Take care. *gives cheek*
Girl B: *kiss the cheek* Muahh! You too, take care.

I know guys won't say and do such thing but they got their own way to show it off right? ;) I can't imagine myself seeing guys kiss their friends cheeks when to bid goodbye. Or worst, say such thing with their husky voice. Urgh~!

Guy A: Weh! Ok lah, aku nak pegi main bola nih. Bye. Love you.
Guy B: Ok. Bye. Love you too.

Euuuuuuuwww~!!! That's so nasty. xD
And seeing guys touching their friends in "over-friendly" manner would freak me out too. If girls, it's OK. Can be accepted. We can hug each other, holding hands, hug each other hips or anything! But guys? That would be ten times nastier ok? Yucks~

The conclusion is... guys can't be sweet to their guy friends!! Rightt??? Hahaha! So sad.. ;P

Hotlink? DiGi?

Lately, i always "fight" with my friends about our cellphone telecommunication line. Yeah, they using Hotlink and im using DiGi. When i think back, most of my friends whom before this using another line and changed it to hotlink because maybe they were influenced by the advertisement? hehehe...honestly i say, rite now, hotlink, celcom and digi services all same but i love digi bcoz there's bubble talk and only cost 10 cent. The function of bubble talk is just like sms but it's more worth bcoz we can talk for 30 seconds. I already tried it, and it more worth than sms. And the reward RM50 for reload is only RM200..juz imagine, if u only top up a month RM50, in 4 months you will get another RM50 and the birthday bonus also is great. If you top up with whatever value, example RM5 on 3 days before or after your birthday, you will get RM30 as reward..and i just love the flexi e-load..yeah..really flexibel..we now can reload RM5 and above..yeah..really useful when it goes to something urgent and we got only RM5 and reload it. And, digi also advertise their promotion and services in newspaper and magazine. i think, that not need a lot of money but hotlink love to advertise their promotion and services on TV, and that kinda waste of users money...and now digi have MTV Powerpack which is so cool and sms is free if smsing with friends and family list and the total list are 9 numbers. yeah..hotlink can only active 5 numbers to get a cheaper cost of sms, call, mms and maybe other services?..and, download MTV is free...woo...isn't it awesome..and it monthly fee onle RM5..it's really worth..yeah..i guess, that's it for today..wuteva it is..DIGI..THE SMART PLAN FOR YOU...huhuh..
