I must say, this song has been stuck in my head ever since I heard it for the very first time. I found that both of the lyrics and video clips are interesting. The lyrics are actually not telling a story of a man as a lover but it's about how a man treats his lady. I'm gonna use the terms boy and girl now. Roughly, the song is about a girl putting herself in his boy's shoes. She thought that she would treat herself better if she was him. Somehow, the lyrics show that there are two type of typical men. First, the "bad boy" and second, is the "good boy".

Obviously the last two parts are the girl's thoughts. As for the video clip, I love to see Beyonce dressed as a policewoman. The uniform is way sexier than the original ones. Haha. Okayh, I like the video concept. The guy was being sweet. From the beginning until the half of the video showing her in the boy's position and at the scene where they both were having conversation is the twisting part. The truth is, she has been imagined herself in the guy's position and everything is went back to normal when Beyonce said, "What?" and the guy replied, "I said, why are you so jealous? It's not like I'm sleeping with the girl". At that point, from her imagination switched back to reality where the fact that the guy is the cop and he flirts with his co-worker.
