They're gone, just for awhile

Hajj or the journey to the Holy Land of Mecca, is one of the most revered among the Islamic pillars. Tens of millions of Muslims, both within and outside the Arab world, dream of the day they will make this fulfillment of a life long ambition. Alhamdullilah. I'm happy because both of my parents are given the chance to perform Hajj.

I've tried my best not to go out during last weekend because I know spending time with them is much more important than have a leisure time with my friends. Our relatives kept coming in and out from the house, visiting them and wishing them. I can see that Mama is so excited and full with joy when we were sending them off. While Abah was calm as always.

While waiting for the final call, we saw some of the the pakciks show their skin so we asked Abah why don't he put his ihram like them and "Tak naklah, seksiii", he replied. We all went LOL. My, my.. during this hour he still can make jokes. Ohh.. I'm so gonna miss Abah's random jokes.

Before we let them go, I gave my final killer hugs to both of them. I weep for that moment. I embraced them as tight as I can. I don't know why I didn't cry badly that night maybe because I have a strong faith in them that they will come back safely to us. Although most of people say, "Orang pergi haji kadang-kadang rasa macam mereka tak balik lagi".. but let's keep things positive. The only thing that really makes me worried is Abah. It's obvious that Abah's is becoming just like a normal old folk because he starting to forget things. I really hope Abah will be fine without Mama besides him all the time. And we'll be fine too, 45 days without both of you. Lastly, thank you so much to our relatives for coming to our house and sending them off as well. Really appreciate it. =)

So we wish you, Mamabah, a safe journey to Mecca and back and attain Haji Mabrur.
